Chris Greening Pottery - Fairs & Events (2017)

Chris Greening Pottery will have stalls at the following events and fairs this year (2017).  Many of the fairs I have a stall at are also attended by my wife, the fused glass designer, Sarah Greening (http://www.sarahgreeningglass.co.uk) - a chance to pick up a unique piece of jewellery as well as pottery!!   • Sun 26-Mar-17: The Fold Market (The Fold, Bransford, Worcester. WR6 5JB) (http://www.thefold.org.uk/) (11:00-15:00) (Free Entry) 4th Sunday each month.  The Fold Market  offers local, ethical and sustainable produce including as well as original artwork and crafts, woodwork, organically tanned sheep skins, plants, jewellery plus so much more. 

  • Sat 29-Apr-17: Malvern Arts & Food (Malvern Priory, Church Street, Malvern, WR14 2AY)  (http://boffyartsandevents.com/events) (times tbc but probably 10:00-17:00) (Free Entry) Malvern Arts and Food Market is one of the longest running markets of its kind in the area. Exhibitors include local designer makers, artists and some of the finest artisan food and drink producers in the region. This market is a partnership between Boffy Arts Markets and Malvern Hills District Council. The market is located in the beautiful grounds of Malvern Priory. 

  • Sat 17-Jun-17: Droitwich Food Festival (Droitwich Lido Park, Worcester Road, Droitwich, WR9 8AA) (http://www.droitwichspafestival.co.uk/) (10:00-18:00) (Free Entry) The Droitwich Spa Food and Drink Festival started in 2013 and has grown rapidly to become one of the main events in the town. The success of the Food and Drink Festival means that 2017’s festival will be held on Saturday 17th June and the event area will move to Droitwich’s Lido Park. We are also pleased to welcome TV chef Brian Turner to open the event.

  • Sun 13-Aug-17: Worcester Show (Gheluvelt Park, Waterworks Rd, Worcester WR1 3EZ) (10:00-17:00) (Free Entry) A popular free event for all the family, the 11th Worcester Show returns to Gheluvelt Park this August.  Enjoy a wide variety of music, food, entertainment, kids’ zone, and stalls from local businesses and craftspeople.

Sun 19-Nov-17: Blue Magpie Designer-Maker Craft Market, Elmslie House, 8 Avenue Road, Great Malvern, WR14 3AG)(http://www.elmsliehouse.co.uk/category/craft-markets/) (10:30-16:30) Elmslie House is both an elegant venue and a private Grade II listed family home set in the heart of Great Malvern. The owners open up part of the ground floor for music performances, designer-maker craft markets, weekly exercise classes, art exhibitions, seminars and training courses. Steeped in local history, and within easy walking distance of the station, and the centre of Great Malvern itself (Malvern Theatre and Malvern Splash are just around the corner), the house has its own light and spacious hall which has been completely refurbished to create a unique and elegant venue.

  • Sat 9-Dec-17: Hereford Arts Market (High Town, Hereford, HR1 2AA)  (http://boffyartsandevents.com/events) (times tbc but probably 10:00-17:00).  Herefordshire is an artistic hotbed, home to many creative people and the Arts Market is a regular showcase for local talent and Designer/Makers from the region. You will find a range of original artworks, traditional and contemporary crafts and handmade jewellery from professional and semi- professional Designer/Makers, who will be pleased to talk to you about their work or discuss bespoke commissions. 

  • Sat 16-Dec-17:  Waylands Yard (6 Foregate Street, Worcester WR1 1DB) (http://www.waylandsyard.com/) (10:30-18:00).  Wayland's Yard is a place for the whole community to gather and share in their passion for proper coffee and proper food.  They also have a pretty epic private space upstairs, which they want to use to give back to the City that they love so much! It's available for hire to any group; kids birthday parties, charity groups, business meetings, university societies, book clubs, talks and art groups.
